Privacy Policy

Gamuki (gamuki.com) lets you make games by chatting with an AI agent, play them, and sell them in the Gamuki Arcade. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. Questions: privacy@gamuki.com.
What we collect
Your account
- When you sign in with an email code, we receive your email address. When you sign in with Google, our sign-in provider Clerk receives your name, email address and profile picture from Google. Gamuki stores your name and email address with your account.
- If you use Sign in with ChatGPT or connect your ChatGPT plan, we receive your OpenAI account identifier and email, plus the access tokens needed to run your games on your plan. Those tokens are stored encrypted.
What you make
- Your games: the game description, the chat with the agent (your prompts and its replies), art, sprites, animations, sounds, music and the game code it produces, and saved checkpoints of your project.
- Images and videos you upload, and voice you record: dictation clips, and live audio while voice mode is on.
- When you ask the agent to watch your game, a few frames of the game (or of the screen you choose to share) are captured for that request.
- Games you publish to the Arcade are public: their title, description, art and your display name.
Payments and payouts
- Plans, credit packs, game purchases, tips and hosting are paid through Stripe Checkout. We receive the purchase details (what was bought, the amount, fees and Stripe's customer and subscription ids). We never see or store full card numbers.
- Creators who sell games set up payouts with Stripe Connect. Stripe collects the identity and bank details it needs; we store the connected account id and your earnings ledger.
- We keep a record of your plan, credits used and credit packs bought.
Usage and technical data
- Our hosting provider records basic request logs (such as time, page or API path, response status and errors) to keep the service running and secure.
- We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use it
- To run your account and the studio: building, drawing, animating and saving your games.
- To take payments, keep your plan and credits up to date, pay creators and prevent fraud.
- To publish and host the games you choose to share, and to review fan games before they appear in the Arcade.
- To answer you, fix problems and keep the service secure.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it
We share data only with the services that run Gamuki, and only what each needs:
- Cloudflare: hosting, our database and file storage (your account, projects, art, sounds and uploads), and request logs.
- Clerk: sign-in with email codes and Google.
- Stripe: payments, subscriptions, customer billing portal and creator payouts (Stripe Connect).
- OpenAI: the chat agent and game coder, GPT Image art, dictation, voice mode, and looking at images and game frames. Your prompts, chat, uploads and the frames or audio involved are sent to OpenAI to produce the result. If you connect your ChatGPT plan, those requests run on your own OpenAI account.
- Google (Gemini) and Anthropic (Claude): available as models for looking at images and uploads, web search and ideas; when used, the relevant prompt and image are sent to them.
- fal.ai: drawing art and making video animations from your descriptions, chosen reference images and existing game art.
- ElevenLabs: making sound effects and music from text descriptions.
- SerpApi, Apify and Pexels: searching the web for reference images. Only the search words are sent.
These providers process the data to deliver their part of the service under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect Gamuki, our users or others.
Google user data
If you sign in with Google, we receive only your basic profile (name and profile picture) and email address, and we use them only to sign you in and identify your account. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not let people read it except with your permission, for security, or where the law requires it. Gamuki's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Cookies and local storage
- A sign-in session cookie that keeps you signed in, and short-lived cookies used only while you sign in or connect a ChatGPT plan.
- Clerk's cookies for the sign-in session.
- Your browser's local storage remembers the studio panel sizes you choose.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Retention and deletion
- We keep your account and your games while your account is open. A project keeps up to 80 checkpoints; older ones are replaced as you go.
- Purchase, payout and tax records are kept as long as the law requires, even after an account is closed.
- To get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and games, email privacy@gamuki.com from the address on your account. We reply within 30 days. Deleting an account also removes its games from the Arcade.
- Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have further rights, such as to object or to complain to your data-protection authority. Write to us and we will help.
Security
Connections to Gamuki are encrypted (HTTPS), sign-in is handled by Clerk, card details are handled by Stripe, and stored tokens are encrypted. No service is perfectly secure; tell us at once if you think your account has been misused.
Children
Gamuki is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the site or by email.
