Terms of Service
Last updated November 4, 2026
These terms cover your use of Gamuki (gamuki.com): the AI game studio, the Gamuki Arcade, and selling games. By creating an account or using Gamuki you agree to them, to our Privacy Policy and to our Copyright Policy. Questions: support@gamuki.com.
Your account
- You need to be at least 13, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live (with a parent's or guardian's permission if you are a minor there).
- Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens in your account. Give accurate details, especially for payments and payouts.
Plans and credits
- Building games needs a paid plan. Plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel, which you can do at any time from Billing; the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- AI work (art, video, sound, building and updating games, searches) uses credits. Each plan includes monthly credits, which reset every month and don't roll over. Credit packs you buy don't expire and are used after your monthly credits.
- The studio shows the expected credits before paid steps. If a step fails, its credits are returned.
- Prices are shown before you pay. Except where the law says otherwise, payments are not refundable; if something went wrong, write to us and we will look at it fairly.
- If you connect your own ChatGPT plan, those requests also follow OpenAI's terms and your plan's limits.
What you make, and your responsibility for it
- You keep the rights you have in your ideas, prompts, uploads and games. You give Gamuki a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, process, display and host them as needed to run the service, and, for games you publish, to show, distribute and sell them in the Arcade.
- You are responsible for your games and everything in them, including what the AI agent produces at your request. Only use material you created, have permission to use, or that is in the public domain.
- AI output can be unexpected, inaccurate or similar to other people's work, and the same prompt can give different results. Check what you publish.
- Don't use Gamuki to make or share anything illegal, hateful, sexual content involving minors, harassment, malware, or content that infringes others' rights or impersonates real people in a misleading way. Don't try to break, overload or misuse the service or other people's accounts.
- Game studies of other websites copy how a game plays, not its code, art, sound or text; full teardowns are only for games on domains you prove you own.
Copyright checks and fan games
- Gamuki automatically checks games for material that appears to belong to others (movies, shows, games, franchises, characters, real people, brands, songs). The check can be wrong either way; it doesn't make a game safe to publish.
- A flagged game can be made original, or published as a fan game after you agree to the fan game conditions for that game.
- Fan games are allowed but are always free: they can never be sold, take tips or be monetized, even after changes. They can be removed at any time, including when a rights holder complains.
- Rights holders can report games; we handle reports, counter-notices and repeat infringers as described in the Copyright Policy. Repeated infringement can lead to your account being closed.
The Arcade: publishing, selling downloads and payouts
- Publishing a game needs a hosting plan, billed monthly to your card (or paid from your earnings if you choose). If hosting stops, the game goes offline.
- Only original games can be sold. A game with an unresolved copyright flag, or a fan game, can't be sold.
- Selling downloads needs a one-time fee of $10 per game. Once paid, that game can sell for life at a price you pick from $1 to $5, unless it is taken down or becomes a fan game. The fee is not refunded automatically if that happens; we review those cases individually.
- Gamuki sells paid games and takes tips as the seller. From each sale, Stripe's fee is deducted and the creator receives their share of the rest (85% unless shown otherwise when you publish); Gamuki keeps the remainder.
- Payouts go weekly, through Stripe Connect, once your balance reaches the minimum shown on your Earnings page. You must complete Stripe's payout setup and are responsible for your own taxes. If a sale is refunded or charged back, the creator's share of it may be deducted from their balance.
- Buyers get a licence to play and download the game they bought for personal use, kept in their library; they don't get ownership of the game or the right to redistribute it.
- We may refuse, remove or stop selling any game, for example after a rights complaint or a policy breach.
Ending your account
You can stop using Gamuki and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk; where we can, we will tell you why. Earned balances owed to creators are paid out unless they come from fraud, chargebacks or infringing games.
No warranty
Gamuki is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running but can't promise it will always be available, error-free or secure, or that AI output will suit your purpose. Your games and content can be deleted, taken down, lost or become unavailable, for example after a takedown, a policy decision, a technical failure or the end of hosting. Keep your own copies of anything important.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Gamuki is not liable for any loss of games, content, data, sales, earnings or goodwill, or for indirect, special or consequential losses, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms; we will change the date above and announce significant changes on the site or by email. Using Gamuki after a change means you accept the updated terms.
